Our Garden Jet, Garden Inox, Garden Com selfpriming centrifugal pumps are Jet, JetInox, JetCom pumps with some assembled accessories as a standard feature, so please refer to the respective manuals (and their FAQ) for additional information. It is always good practice to position the pump as close as possible to the liquid to be pumped. The pump must be installed exclusively in horizontal position. The pipes must never have an internal diameter smaller than that of the pump inlets and it is advisable to install a foot valve on the suction side. For suction depths of more than four metres or with considerable horizontal paths, it is advisable to use a suction pipe with a diameter greater than that of the suction mouth of the pump. To avoid the formation of air pockets in the suction pipe, provide a slight positive slope of the suction pipe towards the pump. If the suction pipe is made of rubber or flexible material, always check that it is of the reinforced type to avoid shrinkage due to suction. In all the pumps intended for the portable version, the handle for lifting and transporting must always be present and well fixed to the support. For pumps intended for use in outdoor fountains, garden ponds and similar places, the pump must be supplied by means of a circuit with a differential current device, the rated differential operating current of which does not exceed 30 mA.

Switch on the power and check, on the three-phase version, that the motor is turning in the correct direction; this should be in a clockwise direction, looking at the motor from the impeller side. If it is turning in the wrong direction, invert the connections of any two wires on the terminal board, after having disconnected the pump from the power mains.
