Before use, completely fill the pump and suction pipe with water to allow priming. When used in wells or in all cases where the water level is lower than the pump, it is mandatory to always use a suction pipe equipped with an anti-reflux foot valve, which allows it to be filled the first time it is installed and prevents it from emptying when the pump stops, thus avoiding problems during restarting. In case of installation where the water level is higher than that of the pump, we recommend the use of a non-return valve directly on the pump body. The instruction manual contains a guide with images that explains step by step what to do for the first start-up of the pump, including the priming procedure.
